About Kevnesha Boyd, LPC
I am Kevnesha Boyd, the Founder and Clinical Director of Quality Counseling. My diverse background as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Cannabis Consultant, and Registered Yoga Teacher equips me to help adults struggling with generational trauma, racial trauma, systemic racism, and chronic stress.
I employ holistic wellness practices, including meditation, cannabis, and yoga, to guide trauma survivors toward finding balance and healing without the weight of past trauma. My vision is to reduce mental health disparities within the Black community by shifting from intergenerational trauma to intergenerational healing.
With over 15 years of experience in diverse mental health settings, I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Eastern CT State University and a graduate degree in Community & Forensic Psychology from the University of New Haven.
My path as a Cannabis Consultant began when I navigated the medical marijuana program as a patient. I now provide cannabis education to consumers and wellness professionals, enhancing therapeutic effectiveness while striving to destigmatize, decriminalize, and decolonize cannabis as medicine.
